Carrot Detox Juice
Getting juice to go at trendy juice bars is a healthy way to get your veggies on the run, but it can be pricey. It's actually easy to make your favorite juices at home. Use a fancy juicer or your blender and a strainer. I use my Ninja and strain with cheesecloth to get every drop of juice.
Equipment
Ingredients
- 10 carrots rough cut
- 4 cups water
- 2 oranges juiced
- 1 lemon juiced
- 4 tbsp Agave nectar
- 4 tbsp fresh ginger peeled and rough chopped
- 1 tbsp turmeric
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
- Place doubled cheesecloth or a large strainer over a bowl and strain out the pulp
- Transfer juice to a pitcher
- Serve with ice
Notes
I use doubled cheesecloth to strain my juices. You can really squeeze every drop of juice out of the pulp!
Also try omitting the turmeric and adding ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper for an extra zing.
