Ingredients
- 1 bunch kale
- 2 cups water
- 1 large cucumber peeled
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 Granny Smith apple peeled and cored
- juice of a lemon
- ⅛ tsp salt
Instructions
- Remove the bitter inner stalk of the kale.
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Strain through a mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher.
- Serve over ice.
Notes
Variations:
- Swap out the kale for spinach or arugula.
- Swap out the water for 2 cups of apple juice, if you want it sweeter.
