Ingredients

peeled

Granny Smith apple
peeled and cored
juice of a lemon

Instructions
Remove the bitter inner stalk of the kale.
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Strain through a mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher.
Serve over ice.
Notes
Variations:
Swap out the kale for spinach or arugula.
Swap out the water for 2 cups of apple juice, if you want it sweeter.
