Notes
Swedish Lesson:
"Saluhall" means market house. Every major city in Sweden has one. The food is all fresh ingredients beautifully displayed.I enjoyed a morning of gourmet shopping and a picnic-for-one, overlooking the harbor near the Royal Palace, while my husband was working. But don't go solo! These sandwiches are super easy to make. Whip up a whole Smorgasbord!Variations include:Ost and Skinka- Ham and cheeseOst and Gront- Cheese and literally "green stuff" like pea shoots.Any baby greens will work, however pea shoots garnish every thing in Sweden.I grow a pot full of Austrian winter peas to use in my cooking.
