Maple Leaf Cookies
This crisp cookie really holds it's shape, so it is perfect for using with cookie cutters.
Decorate or serve plain, these also make great garnishes for pumpkin pie or pumpkin mousse. They are a big hit at fall themed parties.

Preheat oven to 350°.
Roll out dough on a well-floured work surface, using a rolling pin.
Using cookie cutters, cut the dough into shapes.
Place on a well-oiled cookie sheet.
Add sugar sprinkles.
Bake 10-12 minutes.
Cool on a cooking rack.
Notes
I use a tooth pick to trace the veins and create a leaf-like look.
Fall sugar sprinkles are fun!
Try fall-colored M&Ms too.
