1orange, juicedtry blood oranges when they are in season
¼cup brown sugarfirmly packed
2tbspWorcestershire sauce
2tbsphot pepper sauceTabasco is my fave
¼tspground allspice
¼tspground ginger
¼cupwinered or white, any wine will do
salt and pepperto taste
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a sauce pan on medeum heat
Add minced onion
Sautee onion for 5 minutes
Add the rest of the ingredients
Bring the sauce to a simmer, then lower the heat and cook about 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens
Notes
When marinating a whole chicken or bone in skin on chicken parts you can start marinating the night before grilling.If you are using boneless, skinless chicken, only marinate for an hour. Otherwise, the chicken gets tough.
