Aperol Spritz

I discovered Aperol Spritz on a visit to Stockholm a few years ago where it was advertised in the window of almost every restaurant.
Aperol is an Italian orange-flavored alcohol that makes the perfect cocktail for a hot summer day!
Aperol has more of a bitter orange taste. You can use Campari if you want a more sweet-tart flavor.

Equipment

Large wine glass
Craft Ice
Decorative paper straws, or umbrella straws

Ingredients
  

  • 1 part Prosecco
  • 1 part Aperol
  • splash Soda
  • 1 slice Orange
  • Ice

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredence in a large wine glass
  • Enjoy

Notes

Make a big pitcher for entertaining or just a glass for yourself.  You decide how how much to make!
For the photo, I went with 2 ounces of Prosecco and 2 ounces of Aperol. 
Pro Tip: I use a large round craft ice ball to keep the orange slices in place.
